Welcome Group Donates $25,000 to Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina
Donation underscores Welcome Group’s commitment to supporting the communities where it invests, develops and operates
DURHAM, NC – September 21, 2026 – Welcome Group recently presented the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina with a $25,000 donation during a visit to Welcome Venture Park in Durham.
The Food Bank is a tenant at Welcome Venture Park, occupying Building F and serving communities throughout Central and Eastern North Carolina. During the visit, members of the Welcome Group team met with Food Bank leadership to learn more about the organization’s operations and the impact of its work throughout the region.

Welcome Venture Park is Welcome Group’s flagship development in North Carolina’s Research Triangle, encompassing approximately 160 acres and planned for more than 1.3 million square feet across 10 buildings and four phases. Phase I delivered approximately 395,000 square feet across four buildings and is largely leased, with tenants including the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Phase II adds approximately 200,550 square feet across Buildings C and H; Building C is fully leased, while Building H offers 100,450 square feet available for lease. Additional opportunities remain in Buildings E and G in Phase I, with future phases planned to add more than 750,000 square feet of manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, distribution and technology-focused space.
