Welcome Group Expands Team With Five New Hires
New hires across accounting, finance, property management and leasing strengthen the company’s growing platform
HOUSTON, TX – September 2, 2026 – Welcome Group, a Houston-based commercial real estate investor and developer focused on manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse and distribution facilities, today announced the addition of five professionals to its team.
Rob Canizalez has joined Welcome Group as Senior Property Manager, Sabrina Hollis as Property Manager, Gillian Boyer as Operational Accounting Director and Wesley Hightower as Finance Manager. William Hirtz has joined Welcome Realty Advisors, a subsidiary of Welcome Group, as Leasing Associate.
The new hires reflect Welcome Group’s continued investment in the people and capabilities needed to support its vertically integrated platform, owner-operated portfolio and long-term growth across Texas and the Southeast.

Rob Canizalez, Senior Property Manager
Canizalez brings more than a decade of commercial real estate experience. He most recently served as Senior Real Estate Manager at CBRE, where he managed a 12-million-square-foot portfolio of industrial, retail and office properties. At Welcome Group, he will help oversee property operations, tenant relationships and long-term asset performance.
Sabrina Hollis, Property Manager
Hollis joins Welcome Group with more than nine years of commercial property management experience at CBRE, where she specialized in industrial properties. As Property Manager, she oversees the day-to-day operations, performance and value preservation of a portfolio of owner-operated manufacturing and industrial properties.
Gillian Boyer, Operational Accounting Director
Boyer joins Welcome Group as Operational Accounting Director, bringing extensive experience in internal audit, financial controls, enterprise risk management and process optimization. Prior to joining Welcome Group, she served as Senior Managing Director of Business Consulting at BGSF, where she focused on internal audit, SOX compliance and process optimization. Her career also includes leadership roles with Bridgepoint Consulting, Protiviti and Arthur Andersen. Boyer is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Wesley Hightower, Finance Manager
Hightower joins Welcome Group as Finance Manager, bringing more than a decade of commercial real estate and capital markets experience. Most recently, he served as Associate Director on the Debt Capital Markets team at Zions Bancorporation. His prior experience includes roles with CBRE, Stream Realty Partners and HFF, where he executed more than $3 billion in transaction volume. Hightower earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Louisiana State University.
William Hirtz, Leasing Associate
Hirtz joins Welcome Realty Advisors, a subsidiary of Welcome Group, as Leasing Associate. He will support leasing initiatives across Welcome Group’s portfolio, including property marketing, lease transactions and relationships with tenants and the brokerage community.
