HOUSTON, TX – October 5, 2026 – Welcome Group has been ranked No. 15 on the Houston Business Journal’s 2026 list of the Houston area’s largest commercial property owners, recognizing the company’s continued presence and investment across the Houston region.
The annual ranking is based on commercial square footage owned locally as of the second quarter of 2026. Welcome Group owns approximately 4.7 million square feet of commercial real estate across 113 properties in the Houston area, according to Houston Business Journal research.
Houston Business Journal’s 2026 list includes 26 companies that collectively own more than 175 million square feet of commercial property throughout the region. The ranking encompasses commercial properties across the 10-county Houston metropolitan area.
