Welcome Wilson, Jr. serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Welcome Group and is responsible for the firm’s strategic direction, growth, and overall performance. He leads the sourcing, structuring, and execution of the company’s investment and development activities, with a focus on single-tenant industrial and manufacturing properties.

Wilson oversees the expansion of the firm’s geographic footprint, capital relationships, and operating platform. Under his leadership, the company has scaled to more than 9 million square feet across multiple markets and established itself as a leading developer and owner of single-tenant industrial and manufacturing facilities. He also sits on the firm’s investment and management committees across its platforms and directly oversees major transaction activity, including complex sale-leaseback structures and build-to-suit developments.

In addition to his role at Welcome Group, Wilson is a joint venture partner in KDW, the firm’s design-build construction affiliate. He is active in civic and education-related initiatives and has served on numerous boards, including the University of Houston System Board of Regents. He was named one of the “Most Admired CEOs” by the Houston Business Journal.
