Welcome Group Announces Promotions of Ted Kakambouras and Ryan Wasaff

HOUSTON, TX – June 29, 2026 – Welcome Group, a Houston-based commercial real estate investor and developer focused on manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and distribution facilities, today announced the promotions of Ryan Wasaff and Ted Kakambouras in recognition of their leadership and contributions to the company's continued growth.

Wasaff has been promoted to Senior Director of Leasing and Development, Greater Houston, and Kakambouras has been promoted to Senior Director of Acquisitions.

The promotions reflect Welcome Group's continued expansion across Texas and the Southeast, where the company owns and operates more than 9 million square feet across 115 properties.

Wasaff joined Welcome Group in September 2001 and has played an integral role in the growth and performance of the company's Houston portfolio for nearly 25 years. Throughout his tenure, he has helped lead development and leasing initiatives, cultivated strong relationships throughout the real estate community, and supported the development of projects across the Greater Houston region. In his expanded role, Wasaff will continue overseeing leasing efforts.

Kakambouras joined Welcome Group in 2020 and has been instrumental in expanding the company's presence throughout the Southeast. He has helped identify and execute strategic acquisitions across key growth markets, supporting Welcome Group's continued expansion beyond Texas. As Senior Director of Acquisitions, Kakambouras will lead acquisition initiatives while helping advance the company's long-term growth strategy across the broader Boom Belt.
