Larry McCarty serves as Director of Construction at Welcome Group and oversees construction and development activities across the firm’s national portfolio. He manages projects from early planning and design through execution and delivery, with a focus on operational efficiency, quality control, and tenant-specific requirements.

McCarty brings more than 26 years of construction management experience across industrial manufacturing facilities, office towers, life science developments, retail, and large-scale tenant improvements. Throughout his career, he has managed the delivery of more than 6.5 million square feet of development projects, including highly technical and operationally complex facilities.

Prior to joining Welcome Group, McCarty spent nearly two decades at Hines, where he served as Vice President of Construction overseeing major projects including Texas Tower, 609 Main, and Levit Green Phase I in Houston. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University.
